Wheat and banana on the nose.
Wheat, banana, clove all present in the taste a little sweet than other beers of this style but tempered with a little citrus in the finish.
Medium carbonation and a good enough hefeweizen.

Head is mostly lasting.
Body is hazy medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), with a note of banana, light note of old cotton.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Overly sweet, not much acidity to balance, dull aroma. Not very good.

Bottle from brewery. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of wheat, light banana, yest. Taste, orange, lemon, yeast wheat. Fruity bittersweet finish. Nice.

Beer No. 111 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
On tap at Greifenklau, Bamberg. Cloudy orange coloured, small to medium sized white head, mild fruity spicy nose. Light fruity, mild wheaty and banana with notes of caramel and cloves in the finish. Pleasant weizen.

En fût. Pinte dégustée directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Légère odeur de céréales et de bananes. Apparence: La couleur est orangée voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de céréales, de bananes et d’agrumes. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. My Bottom Line :
This effective Weizen puts crunchy wheat alongside banana esters for a lean and drinkable example of the style.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam covers the cloudy yellow gold.
-The prickly effervescence works with the easygoing sugars.
-The flavor profile is quite simple, revealing all it has to offer after a couple of sips.
-This was not as sweet as the average Weizen.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light estery and dry wheaty. Mild fruity and dry estery. Light bitter, yeasty and mild fruity finish.

Tapped: Deep golden, cloudy, stable lacy off-wjite head; moderate citrussy-wheaty with a yeasty and a mouldy touch; light to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, fizzy and light bodied; wheat and a tinge of cinnamon in the short sweetish-sourish finish. Neither refreshing nor pleasant......
