(bottle)Hazy, ruby red colour with a big and dense light-beige foamy head. Slightly sourish, berry-fruity aroma with a shy wheaty touch and minimal toasty touch, accompanied by light spicy notes. Light sour and light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Berry-fruity and wheaty taste with a delicate toasty touch; rather slim but almost refreshing sour-fruity finish. Clean and just okay (23.07.08).

Bottle. Deep amber coloured, big and stable beige head. Sourish to toasty nose with a wheaty touch. Moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, medium bodied, quite smooth. Traces of cacao-powder in the sweetish-sourish-wheaty finish. Quite O.K. ...........

bottle, at some pub somewhere near roding (this is where a map might have helped on this hiking trip). browny amber with a steady head. plummy aroma, a bit of a hit of alcohol but also some pleasant burnt vanilla flavour and an appreciably sour finish
