Bottle: Golden, mid-sized - slowly collapsing - lacy white head; sweetish strawy-grainy nose with a bitter touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; sweet grainy finish, bitter aftertaste. Simple, unexciting brew.....

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and fluffy foam. Sweet and grainy malty aroma with subtle notes of citrus and draff and a touch of herbal hops. Moderately sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Balanced malty base with grainy notes on a delicately hoppy background; slightly bitter herbal hoppy finish with a mildly sweet malty aftertaste. Solid. 24.II.11
