Maakun (1641) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2014
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2014 Tap at some youth/community center in Nancy. Clear light amber with big white head. Massive fruit (apple, orange (really)) and lots of spices. Medium sweet, with slight roasted bitterness and bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied and creamy feel. Very nice stuff. Wouldn’t guess it was a blonde but the brewer assured me it was. Update: bottle. More dark golden with big white head. Same as above but with more honey and less fruit.
