Canned 08/25/15. Pours kinda murky copper with a fizzy white creamy head. Aroma is malty, caramel, definitely lager feel. Slightly nutty, some cinnamon. Typical Oktoberfest. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, odd hint of rubbing alcohol. It’s very malty and kinda nice. Not had.

Averagely decent marten. Light caramel, bready malts, and grassy hop. Taste is mildly sweet and earthy.

16oz can. Large beige head atop lightly hazed amber body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread, some spicy, light orange, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, bread, some orange, light earthy. Light body, light effervescence.

6 fl. oz. on tap @ Bukowski’s, Dalton St. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is mostly malts. Flavor is sweet malts with notes of fresh strawberries and some hops. Nice.

Pours dark gold / light amber with an off white head. Malt aromas. Flavors of caramel and butter. Smooth.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear copper with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and caramel malt, light earthy hops and clean. Flavor is sweet malt, light hops and bitterness with a clean lager character and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at the source. Bright clear amber orange color, bright white head. Aroma of lightly toasted buscuit. Taste is toasted caramel and subtle black pepper. Tasty.

Sampled at Blues & Brews. Poured dark orange with a small off white head. Malt forward nose, caramel and toffee. Flavor is the same with a hint of hops to keep the sweetness down a bit. Smooth bodied. Wouldn’t mind finding a 4/6 pack of this.

16 oz can. Light dirty brown/copper pour with a medium fizzy white head that leaves a nice soapy lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and oats. Medium bodied with a silky smooth finish. Very good American take on a marzen.
