22 oz. bottle from Nikki’s Liquors. Dark black color with really nice tan, full head. Lots of lace.Nose is charred malt, bitter chocolate with a tad of booze. Flavor is of a young imperial stout. It’s a bit green and harsh. Chocolate malt, charred ash, bitter sweet malts with a touch of booze. At 9.7 a bit hot and would mellow really nice with some time. Overall still a nicely made Impy stout.

Pours black with ruby hues and a medium creamy mocha head. Aroma has notes of dark fruits, bitter dark chocolate, and booze. Flavor has coffee and mild smokiness with significant dark bakers chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is chocolatey/smokey and dry/bitter.

Richmond 19th. Black. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, a bit of pepsin. Flavor is a match. Really nice. Maybe not crazy complex, but enjoyable, and with a flavor profile I really liked.

Aroma of big chocolate notes, mild roast, mild hoppy finish. The taste is dark roasted malts, herbal hops, dark bitter chocolate, faint nutty notes. Medium-full bodied, chewy.
