Gravity Cask @ Cricketers Arms 1st Beer Festival. Amber. Smooth toffee and nutty malts with a little toastiness. Growing sweetness just about kept in check by the mild hoppiness.

Cask (handpump) @ Roebuck, Hampton Hill, London TW12, UK. Clear light to medium amber brown color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, orange, some licorice / anis. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (281207)

Cask conditioned at The Nags Head, Reading, Berks. Brown with white head. Sweetish, caramel beer with toffee flavours. Some bitterness, some hop but not enough to keep the interest. Average.
