Dark ruby, thin beige head. Nose is light and warm with some maltiness and some weird piss nose. Some bitterness in the nose. Mouth is watery and bitter, some light fruit, golden ale style, and some malty warmness towards the end. Quite watery all the way through. Nothing special.

Cask (gravity dispense), Ealing Beer Festival, May 2006. A quite dark coloured, almost opaque, mild. Roasty and burnt, with a dry, slightly ashy mouthfeel. Decent enough but a touch weedy.

Cask@Beer On Broadway, Ealing. Slightly mocha and ashy notes in the aroma and flavour. Quite pleasant, with a soft mouthfeel, and a lightly watery finish, pleasant, easy drinking mild.

’Gribble Pukka Mild’. Cask conditioned at Ealing Beer on Broadway Festival 2006. Almost black. Mild grainy and malt aroma. Juicy sweet malt with some fruit to taste. Refreshing.

Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2006
Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. Dark red. Lots of choc coffee and fruity berries. Not sweet with a tart berry finish. Overly cold (served from pin in unheated back room) so slightly muted. Hard not to like mild when it is like this but nothing to love either.
