Reg's was named after one of the regulars. Brewed to a smooth nutty flavour with a rather pleasant after bite.

Cask at Middle Farm, East Sussex. Pours a nice, clear dark amber with a sweet malty aroma. Good biscuity malt taste with decent hop balance. Great mouthfeel and good palate. A suprisingly good pint - I’ll definitely be looking out for it. Hope it gets more rates soon!

Bottle. Clear golden, chestnut with a thin film of a head. Nose is sweet syrupy, malty, lots of caramel. Mouth is caramely, slightly sour, very sweet malt. Smooth on the way down. Slightly sweet/sour end. Quite clean. OK.

Hnadpump at the the Maddening Crowd Oxford. Pours a clear deep amber with a soapy white head. Aroma is sweetish, bready with a light floral hop character. The body is med. and chewy with an appropriate cask CO2. The flavors were pleasantly hoppy, earthy, floral, with a ton of sweet malt...too much residual. There was actually a ton of warming alcohol in the mix. Far too much from something that was only 5%.

Cask (handpump) at the Gribble Inn, Oving, Sussex, February 2006. Attractive copper colour. Strong malt aroma - slightly smoky. Chewy and nutty on the palate with a good backing of citric hop. Nice clean, fresh finish. On top form on its home patch.
