Bottle. Poured dark amber with a temporary white head. Light fruity, near cola, aroma. Medium body with firm carbonation. Flavor is spicey, but a touch medicinal. Caramel with fresh fruit, but also cooked fruit. There’s a lot going on in this. Finishes balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. Interesting beer.

Bottle from Asao. Aroma is green apples, caramel and slight chocolate, bread. Rather pedestrian. Rather pale brown with orange tint and a thick, low head. Sweet, somewht confused flavor, carmel, chocolate, apples, spice. Too sweet and rather plain. Drinkable.

33cl bottle, tulip glass. Pours a dark ruby brown, with a medium white head. Subtle aroma of caramel malt and spices. Tastes of sweet red cherries and caramel malt. Medium-bodied, medium carbonation. Tasty, but nothing special.

Lovely dark brown color with a little red shining through. Not a nice smell and poor taste. Mouthfeel is pretty decent.

February 2010 - my 330ml bottle shared with blankboy and garthicus. Cloudy reddish-amber with a lot of floaties; small off-white head. Sweet caramel and spice aroma, quite yeasty - but pretty "Belgian brown generic" and dry. The taste followed - sweet caramel, spicy, yeasty, a bit boozy - ehhh. Thin, slick, stingingly carbonated - not bad, pretty unmemorable.

Dark brown cloudy, awesome holding white head. Sweet yeasty aroma. Rich, sweet brown malt taste. Average beer bite. Sweet lingering finish.
