TimE (2068) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 28, 2005
Thick, very dark hazy amber color. Thick white head, sweet malty nose with cherries, strawberries, yeast, oranges, chocolate, brandy, and a touch of bubblegum. Mildly sweet mouth, yeast, strawberries, chocolate and slight hints of alcohol. The finish is disappointing weak, malty and a bit of yeast, but no real depth.

fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - MAY 2, 2005
Beautiful amber color; thick head, creamy and persistent. Malty aroma, with coriander. Malty taste, some sweetness and a lot of coriander, well balanced, smooth, light liquorice, but quite dry and bitter at the end. Good but without emotions.

sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 4, 2005
(Bottled) Hazy darkish amber color with a medium, tanned head. Aromatic, bitter-style hopping in the slightly sweet, toffeeish aroma. Caramely-toffeeish-malty flavor with moderate, aromatic bitterness. ABV doesn’t show at all. Medium-bodied, slightly sugary palate. Very drinkable brew for its ABV, but not very warming (it was too cold, though).

This beer has an amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is moutig with a bitter dry afther tast.

Bottle. Spicy, malty aroma. Medium brown colour. Tea-like/ice-tea-like flavour. Nice bitterness.

Good orange-coloured head; orange-amber clear beer. Cookie malts, orange zeste, flowery nose. Some say cinnamon, but I don’t get that. Fresh, orangey taste, unfortunately ruined at least partially by a ton of coriander. Very dry, falls a bit flat. Better than the regular Gribousine (not that hard!), but not really exciting.

TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 20, 2004
Bottled (BB 04/2006)
Nut brown, creamy small tanned head. Floating yeast particles. Ashy, malty nose - quite weak. Medium-bodied, malty brew, which hides ABV very well. Dry, grassy hops. Mouthfeel is oily with leather. Eay to drink but quite neutral.
