Draught at the Fischer Bräu, Wien.
Clear dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head. Very sweet and sugary caramel taste with odd notes of something that remindes me on pancakes. Light metallic finish. Again too sweet.

Draft @ Krah Krah, Vienna. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Sweetish malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

From tap Fischer Bräu. Pours almost clear and golden deep amber to brown with a small off white head. Aroma is mild, roasted malt and slight breadish. Fruity, roasted malt, caramelish and sweet. Breadish too. Ends sweet and mild fruity.

Draught at the Schweitzerhaus in Vienna. Rich, but not overly heavy. A rather sweet malt taste in this one. It was very nice here on tap. Could have used a bit more hops, possibly, but one of the most enjoyable dunkels I have had to date. Well balanced and tasty.

Draught at Fischer Bräu, Vienna. Appears red with a beige head. Sweet malt aroma of caramel, honey and berries. The flavour is caramel, honey and berry fruits. Surprisingly hoppy. Funnily enough it’s not a dunkel whatsoever but more like a Vienna style. Good drinking though.

On tap, at Fischer Brau.
Deep amber beer with an offwhite head. Sweetish, caramel and fruity aroma with some sourish yeast. Fruity character in the flavor with some fig and cherries, some mild toasted caramel. Smooth carbonation, sweetish aftertaste, character. So,this is an easy drinkable one but not a very exciting one...

Dark brown color with a white foam. Aroma is honey, cherry, brown sugar and malts. Light, clear body with sweet flavor. It’s an okay dunkel beer, although nothing too exciting here.

bottle, Interspar Linz. Clear deep brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Light- to medium-bodied. Intensively malty with some quite sweet malt flavours, hints of roasetd malt and dark chocolate. A bit sweet but still pleasant. Reminds me of a dark Czech desítka.

<i>Draught at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. </i> Nut brown, fair sized head. Aroma of café au lait with too much sugar. Very sweet, very gently roasty and very low hop rate. Mild, but heavy on the sugar. Sweetness overloads it.

On draught in a bar in Vienna. A clear dark amber colored beer, with light beige head. The aroma of caramel with a touch of cherries, fruity sweet. The taste is fruity sweet of cherries and raisins. A little malt and hop. To sweet. The aftertaste is sweet as well and stays for quit a while.
