500 ml bottled pictured from Keg Liquors; split four way. Aroma: Lemon and lightly tart wheat character without too much in the way of phenols and spices. Appearance: Slightly hazy tinted yellow with a skinny white head that fades into a ring. Flavor: Wheat characteristics still more present up front, but banana finally shows up with some light clove towards the finish, which is mostly dry. Palate: Medium body, slightly sticky texture, very soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Wasn’t originally taken with it very much, but this turned out to be a well nuanced example. Worth a try, especially for lovers of the style.

500 ml bottle from a supermarket.
Straw colored, hazy body, with a big, unstable, frothy, moderately lacing, white head.
Aroma of banana, vanilla, sweet bread, orange, clove, some dried fruits.
Taste is quite light, with banana, orange, spices, some citrus, vanilla, bread.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an almost fizzy carbonation.
Finishes spicy, yeasty, fruity, a bit bready, a bit hoppy.

Nice. The nose is really lovely, characterful, while the taste is too light and a bit overcarbonated for me. Overall a good style example, but not among my favourite Hefeweizens from Austria.

500 mL bottle. Pours an unclear yellow, with a small, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is orange peels, banana, lemon, biscuit dough, and some light salt. Sweet and citrusy flavor, with some good yeasty esters. Light body, fairly effervescent, lightly acidic, and smooth. This is a pretty nice hefeweizen. Good yeast character and a refreshing flavor.

Bottle - big foamy head, hazy pale straw/yellow color, light wheat aroma and flavor with pretty mild clove spice, expected a little more clove & banana, not bad overall though, definitely refreshing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle, thanks mowbeer for sharing. lightly murky yellow with a lingering fluffy head; loads of apple strudel in the aroma carrying through to the flavour, lightly acidic and quite drinkable

Bottle. Pours a pale straw color with a small head. Aroma of citrus, fruit, spice and a bit of malt. Taste of fruit, citrus, banana, bit of malt and spice. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Light body, quite smooth and flavorful. Enjoyable beer.

Bottled in Vienna. From old notes. Very nice, full bodied, sweet but very fruity white beer with some citrus notes working together with the cloves and banana. Pretty good.

Poured from bottle into a Willybecher glass. It poured a predictable hazy yellow colour with sudsy short-lived white foam. True-to-style weizenbier traits: faint banana and citrus, stronger black pepper and clove. Grainy maltbill, a little mushy from oxidation, more hoppy flavour than aroma. Light body and mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation. Nice lingering bitterness, which ends with a dry finish. Pretty good stuff, I bet it’s awesome fresh at the source.

The color is an opaque golden color with a large white head, and the aroma has green apples, wheat, sweet yeast, and lemons. The taste is mildly sweet with a slight puckering sourness, and the palate has a lively carbonation, medium body, a thin texture obstructed by the carbonation, and a finish that is the least bit sour on the whole tongue.

Bottle @ home. Hazed peach/yellow pour with a thick white head. Nice spicy clove aroma with a hint of orange peel, white pepper, and bubblegum. Some banana, bread, dough, and yeast. Fairly respectable. Taste has some nice spicy clove up front, as well as some dough and bubblegum. Kind of tangy, yeasty finish. Weird lemon peel finish. Slight cardboard.
