A - Pours a super cloudy milky orange color. It reminds my of dark grapefruit juice. S - Sweet banana bread, clove, lemon T - Sweet banana off the top followed by sour bubblegum, spicy wheat, then a tangy citrus finished it off. M - Watery at first but quickly turns to a sort of velvety feel. D - Pretty solid beer. I could drink a couple of these on a hot day or any day. Probably too sweet for more than a few. Serving type: bottle

Cloudy hazy gold color. Thin head that stays around for a while with no lace. Medium mouth. Taste is full on banana. Very easy drinking with a nice clean taste that is refreshing. Aroma has hints of wheat and banana. Slightly watery mouth.

Bottle. Banana, sour wheat malt, and clove aroma. Hazy golden yellow with a large white head. Banana, sour wheat malt, and light bitter clove finish. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.

One of my favorite weiss beers. This weiss beer has all the qualities of an exceptional beer. The appearance was lightly golden with a cloudy hue, however, the abundant carbonation swirled into a nice pillowy white head that quickly disappated leaving thin webbed lacing. The best part of the beer is the taste. Smooth, bubble gum wheat flavor with a fruity finish and a perfect palate that leaves you wanting another sip. Easy to drink on a cold or hot day and too heavy or acidic. I wish I had more than the one I bought.

16.9oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that was mostly diminishing, down to a thin film and small collar with excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was rather mild of a light grain malt and a mild sweaty yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), banana, bubble gum and a bit of clove. The taste was a light malty sweet with a dash of citrus at first, becoming very yeasty with a slight fruity ester and a mild spicy ending. The flavor was kind of short in duration with a light citrusy yeast taste fading away into the background. Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Overall this was a pretty typical Hefeweizen that had a good light fruity taste, a mild ABV and a great drinkability, which most definitely makes this a great summer session brew...

A night of eating specialty wurst and cabbage at the "Wurst Kitchen" required I try something of the german hefeweizen style. Palate was pretty much shot by the many courses, so, for something that was as delicate, it was tough to keep up and stand out.

Very good hefe. The nose is strong of clove, lemon zest and banana. Very smooth and wheaty with lemon citrus and clove/banana notes.

Appearance: hazy medium gold with half a finger of white, foamy head shrinking to a thick collar. Aroma: wheaty, with notes of cereal, citrus, banana, and creamed corn. Taste: sweet and thick, with wheat, orange, clove, banana, bubblegum, and creamed corn again. Finish: a little zingy with carbonation and spice. Notes: Perfectly acceptable hefeweizen. Palate was thick and creamy, but there was a good dose of carbonation and spicy yeast to keep it balanced. On the sweet, corny side.

Location/Date:Bottle split with Dave on August 3rd, 2012.

Appearance: Pours a clear gold.
Aroma: Aroma of wheat mixed with the malt of a lager.
Taste: Wheat style but mixed with a cheap lager.
Palate:Light body.

Summary: This beer just was not very good for the style. Also, my first Austria beer.

Cloudy golden pour with a long head and sheets of yeast that slowly drop back into the drink. The taste is all Hefe: sweet wheat and caramel infused with banana and Topp’s Bubble Gum, a light citrus and spice overtone that moves to a carbonated bitter finish. Similar to many other examples of the style (which are just as well executed), but notable on its own merits.
