The Grieskirchner Pilsner is the flagship of the brewery Gries churches. Anyone who has tasted the bitter delicate hop aroma once, will not easily be persuaded to an alternative.

Through its delicately tart hop aroma is very digestible. The Grieskirchner brewers affectionately call it their "Zechbier".

Tap. Blonde. Apple and soft grassy notes in the aroma. Thinnish. Soft grassy flavor. Uneventful, but acceptable pilsener

Pours a straw color with lots of carbonation, and a bone white half a finger foam that sticks around. Aroma of grassy malts, some funk...typical pils. Mild hops, some lemon, and malt. A refreshing but pretty basic pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Received as part of the beer of the month 12 pack. Bitter forward and ending with a very pilsner in between. Meets the style, zesty and citrusy. Light and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a bottle at Trump Towers. Golden with a ton of floating bubbles and white head. Crisp refreshing German tasting pilsner. Nothing unique - par for the style

Pour is a hazy blonde with a small whtie head. Aroma is of grassy malt and maybe a little metal. Flavor is sweet pils malt with a decent grassy hop to it with minimal wet paper bag. Can’t find a fault with this pils. Maybe just a bit to sweet instead of bready but a decent quencher. The bottle I had was probably old and in a green bottle so probably better when fresh.

A - 1" foamy head that sticks around. Clear straw color. S - Mild malty aroma. T - Malt off the top followed by some faint vanilla and grassy flavors. Mild hop bitterness at the end. The after taste is almost like a natural sweetness on the back of the throat. Very nice. This is a very crisp & clean pilsner that goes down very smooth. Nothing really stands out, but good nonetheless. Serving type: bottle

Pours hazed, lemon gold with a quick, white head. Scent is grassy, water, green bottle skunk.... Taste is citrus, grass, grain, lemon.... Feel is bright and crisp....dry.. Still, just rather feeble stuff. Fairly drinkable, but nothing memorable.
