COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Grieskirchner Pilsner is the flagship of the brewery Gries churches. Anyone who has tasted the bitter delicate hop aroma once, will not easily be persuaded to an alternative.

Through its delicately tart hop aroma is very digestible. The Grieskirchner brewers affectionately call it their "Zechbier".

drpimento (2219) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 27, 2011
Not bad, not great. Let it sit out of the fridge for a few minutes before opening. Poured with a medium sized, fine, white head that mostly subsided soon and a little lace. Color is a clear, straw yellow with some small bubble trails. Aroma is malt, grain, hop, fresh cut grass, and a hint of skunk. Flavor is clean, similar to nose, malt stands out and so does the carbonic acid. Body is good and crisp aided by good carbonation for style. Finish is like flavor and has some length. Serviceable beer. Would work as session.

Test vom 9.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,11,13,11,10,11 - 10,65

Smooth, somewhat malty pils. Lighter than a German pils. Perhaps more like an EPL.

Ughsmash (7124) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 2, 2011
Bottled. Poured clear, pale golden with a moderate cap of white head. The aroma picked up skunk first, with honey and bready notes following.. light husky accents.. not enticing. The flavor found more of the honey plus some pale malt at the core.. much less skunk, but the hops were a bit dank.. finished shaper, with nondescript bitterness, honey, and essence of skunk. Light-bodied, prickly, and sharp at times on the palate.. not a smooth flow.. not a good beer.
