Draft. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy hop and earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Catching up ratings......... On tap at Detroit airport. Pours a mildly hazy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of resin, floral, and pine. Taste was piney and with citrus bitterness. Wasnít my favorite, but my pour kicked their keg and they didnít have another so Iím not sure if a fresh would have been better.

can. pours cloudy very pale yellow with a low white cap showing very little retention and lacing. spicy lemon, candied lemon, booze, grapefruit, piney, some tropical notes, pale slightly crackery yet doughy maltiness, overshadowed by strong sulfuric notes, hint of diacetyl too, nice minerality. light carbonation, light to medium body - oily, assertive yet balanced citrusy-piney finish. seems like a decent crafted brew, aside from strong sulfur aroma.

Golden pour with a white head. Quite a bit of lace. This ipa is heavy on Pine notes. Almost like sticking your head in a Christmas tree and taking a big sip. If you like your ipa on piney side you will enjoy this one.

Can- bought at Angeliís, Menominee, U.P (great beer selection here).. Pours pale golden with moderate head, some lacing. Nose is clean citrus, some fresh pine and a little spice. Flavor is phenomenal - big alpha acid notes of tropical fruit - mango, starfruit, some pineapple - finishes with a dry and plesant bitterness and lingering fruity hop notes. Very hop forward but balanced by a well-structured, creamy malt bill. Comparable to the better of the west coast IPAs Iíve had - surprised to find this coming out of the detroit metro.

On tap, poured into an imperial pint glass. The aromas are very light and relatively muted. There are some traces of grain, citrus peel, caramel, herbs, and wet cardboard. It pours a clear, effervescent yellow gold color with a white, soapy head. A thick ring is retained with an ample surface coating, and it leaves lots of sheet-like lace. The taste is a medium/medium-high bitter with a medium sweet. The beerís texture is thin with a medium body and an active, zippy carbonation. A sweet orange and caramel note turns into a bitter grapefruit with some grass and grain at the finish. The grapefruit and grass linger for a bit in the aftertaste, but it has a nice cleansing effect.
