Bottle. Clear gold body, medium white head. Excellent retention. Yeast, wheat, popcorn, lemon zing, alcohol. Sweet notes. Quite soft, medium bodied, bitter tang on the finish. Moderate carbonation. A slightly more sophisticated Leffe Blonde? Not bad.

Poured from the bottle into globe Trappist glass. Aroma of citrus and soy. Golden brown color and clean, filtered appearance with no sediment. White head that leaves little lace. The taste is slightly sour citrus, slightly sweet honey ale, and slightly yeasty throughout. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation with a crisp finish. Easy drinking balanced beer. A favorite, especially after mowing the lawn.

A solid blonde beer in the Heineken stable I believe. It pours a vibrant gold and has the standard Belgian yeast/pale malt combo.

Slighty cloudy, multi-hued orange, yellow. Small head. Bitter citrus aroma. Flavor starts tart orange and develops to a bitter yeast, watery palate. Thin body, no dough.

La classicissima belgian ale, senza infamia ma anche sicuramente senza lode, molto molto normale.

Pours clear dark amber with a fluffy beige head leaving some lacing. Very fresh malty, fruity, slightly bananas and yeast aroma. Sweet crispy refreshing mouthfeel. Fruity, hoppy and malty flavor - very nice and refreshing. Fruity sweet palate. Finishes first a bit sour then leaving a nice dry tart aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with lots of bubbling, very fizzy. Smell is a sharp bite with some honey and spices. Taste is similar...peppery, some citrus. A lot of spice in it all-around. Easy to drink; smooth.

So why am I defending this one? I don’t even like Belgian ales that much. But damn, one refreshing beer. Clover, Banana, high yeastiness. Some sweet candy? Silky smooth palate. Underrated treat in my dumb ass opinion.
