COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ochre coloured top fermented Abbey Beer with an abv of 6.7%. The use of Gatinais barley combined with carefully selected hops creates a perfectly balanced, relatively light tasting beer with a fruity malty taste.

Poured from a 330ml bottle a clear golden blonde ale with a small frothy head with a slight lacing around the glass. Aroma of spice, citrus and alcohol. Flavor is of white grape and spice. Very flavorful at first but a dissapointing finish. Not a bad blonde but not the very best I have come to expect from Belgium beers

Min första kontakt med belgisk öl och sen dess är jag fast. En fruktig smak, men inte för söt, och den vackra orange färgen gör den dessutom till en visuell upplevelse.

pretty good Belgian. Medium mouthfeel... Spice notes upfront with alittle subdued fruit flavor. Slighty malty with decent carbonation. Looks pretty average but taste alittle above average

On tap at some artistic bar in Brussels. Pours golden orange colour witha frothy white head. Very far fruity aroma. Spiced in the taste with some sweetness but it gets kind of watery at the end. Light body, oily feel, average/medium carbonation. Short after taste.

Bottle: Small, quick disappearing, white foamy head on top of a clear yellow (golden) beer. Smell is fruity malt with hints of spices and hops. Taste is slightly bitter with hints of yellow fruit, malts, spices, sweets and a slight hin of caramel. Mid carbo.

I liked this beer from the first taste. It is very balanced, a bit sweet and goes down easily.

head: white, creamy
colour: blond to gold , clear
smell: heavly malty, tad of sourness, some hay, corn , barley
taste: start is malty, barley , bit sweet , but then suddenly there’s a sort of skunky taste of hay/corn , i don’t think it makes the beer good :-S , further that taste runs over to a skunky malty and sticky end , i don’t really like this beer ... tough i must say when i dirnk it out of a can it’s much better ..

Bottle 33 cl from Bier Bienne (CH). Bright blonde, nice white foam, hight and sticking to the glass. Fruity aromas, fresh and smoked note. The mouth is malted and very fruity, mango and banana. It is round and spicy, the whole was coated with candy. But it remains fresh and enjoyable. Short finish and fine bitterness.
