Aroma is some spicy, coriander with yeast (the usual belgian). Taste is yeasty, spicy and rather dry in finish. A Leffe blond light imo.

The aroma of the Grimbergen Blonde has a strong citrus aspect to it, as well as light hops. As I sip it, I notice a sweet taste, but more strongly, a pleasant yeast I can taste as well. The finish is quite refreshing. I just plain really like this beer; it’s just at the right complexity level (not flat or boring at all, and not too difficult to drink on a hot day). Highly recommended.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Frank (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 27, 2010
Very mild for a Belgian style. It pours a crystal clear orange color w/ a big, foamy white head. It looks quite good at first but the head is ultimately somewhat short lived. My major complaint w/ this is that the nose is rather bland. I just has bready yeast and grain husk thing going on w/o any real fruitiness or vibrancy. The flavor fares much better and is a bit tart w/ some juicy banana notes as well as a hint of clove. There is not much to it though there it is nice and drinkable w/ its relatively light body and carbonation that’s only a hair to strong. There is nothing really wrong w/ it but there’s nothing really right either.

Blond body, white head. Yeast, floral hops, sweet malt on aroma. Some alcohol with the flavour. Low bitterness and thin mouthfeel. Well balanced though. Quite good example of a blonde.
