Sweet, slightly spiced crystal malty nose. Golden-clear, nice white "sea-foam" head. Sweet blonde with a subtle spice ale/lager finish.

11.2oz bottle (2009) into a trappist glass. The pour is clear blonde with a hint of orange and a small white head. The aroma is mostly pale malt with a hint of esters hanging in there somewhere with a touch of yeast. The flavor is sweet and malty up front with a dry finish, possibly from the hops. Not bad, but not excitingly complex or amazing.

Bottle. Pale clear yellow with frothy white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, banana, pear, light grass, straw and wet leaves. Taste is lightly sweet overall. Not as much of a boozy taste as expected for a 6.7% brew, taste more around 5%. Nicely carbonated.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a decent-sized off-white head. An estery aroma of Mandarin oranges, bananas, lemons, and a touch of honey. The flavor starts with some baseball card bubblegum and transitions to some oranges and lemons. Yeasty and sorta spicy. Quite sweet throughout. Goes down nice and light. Crisp and refreshing. A very sessionable Belgian.

Decent abbey blonde. Clear, deep gold with a small head. Taste is clean, with just enough sweetness in my opinion; there is a dry mouthfeel with vigorous carbonation. Aromas are simple and direct; malt, bit of carmel, and just a hint of wood, with an unfortunate metallic flavor appearing briefly in the finish. It’s good; I’m not sure if I’d get it again, unless I could find it on tap.

Buona
