Finish is crisp and clean. A bit weak to be a Trippel, but decent none the less. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Small bottle picked up at BOTW and consumed right away. Pour is crystal clear pale orange. Head consists of a thin sparse layer of white with spotty clusters of more dense white froth. Aroma is slightly sweet and fruity. If I pick up any hops, they are light, and a touch peppery. The flavor is light, well balanced sweetness and a faint cleansing hops. A light and refreshing Belgian. Tasty. kappldav123 (1901), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2008 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very fine, creamy foam. The beer is strong but very drinkable, a little bit sweet. Well done! scottw86 (186), Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Poured a slightly hazy dark yellow. Fruity aroma. Taste was pretty standard for an abbey ale. More sweet and fruity than expected, however. Overall not bad. LordCrabapple (83), Merseyside, England

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2008 The Grimbergen is an average Abbey Blonde. The cloud-like frothy head is very unique. The beer pours with a nice golden hue and the flavors are very light, slightly fruity, and malty. Whelk (124), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slighly hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma is candi sugar, very light hops, and fruity yeast. Grainy malt and fruity yeast flavors dominate with a little yeast funk. Very spritzy carbonation. Maria (6345), Thisted, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 1, 2008 The aroma has notes of yeast and the head is weak. The flavour has notes of hops and flower and a grapefruit-like acidity takes over and dominates the rest of the experience, and my taste buds went num. I know a lot of people like this one, but I’m not fond of this kind of acidity, even if I like very bitter beers.
