3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rodders (137) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2009
(Bottle from Tesco’s, Diss, Norfolk) Dark golden with medium bubbles and medium head. Smell is yeasty, with belgian hops evident, a little fruity, a little flowery and some acidity. Flavour is dull, sweet with some flowers and fruit. VERY sweet with only a little bitterness to balance it. Quite carbonated and warming alcohol. Quite good, but too sweet for my tastes when looking for a Belgian blonde. Cloying.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nik925 (584) - California, USA - JUN 21, 2009
Nutty-ness combines well with the yeast fruitiness. Dry with a semi sweet aftertaste. Good flavor but doesn’t expand. Not an amazing beer but good for what it is.

A clear golden colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of sweet malts with fruits. The taste of fresh malts, fruits like citrus, with sweets. A little bitterness in the back. The aftertaste is sweet with some bitter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rusty (1509) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 10, 2009
Pours a golden orange with a touch of haze and a nice soapy white head with nice sticky lacing. Aroma is yeast, sweet malts, bananas, and a little metallic. Flavor is slightly metallic, sweet malts, bananas, cloves, dough, bread, fruits, yeast, a little bit of hop bitterness. Other than the slight metallic problem this is pretty good.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dagimp (417) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Pours a golden yellow with a coupe of fingers of head. Nice lacing. Smell is yeasty and sweet. Taste is of yeast, malt and banana. Slight alcohol taste at the end of each sip but it’s not overpowering. Not a bad brew but it’s a tad sweet. Not one of the better Belgians that I’ve tasted.

Easy to drink, light sweetness, some hints of fruit, spice. Sweetness tends to be too much, but overall not too bad.
