Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of pepper or other spices and some fruits (no colors provided). Taste is a little sweet and fruity, belgian but not too much. Some cloves or peppery ethanol. Lightly bitter. Licorice? Body is light to medium and carbonation medium-high. Overall an OK mass-produced belgian ale, nothing really particular about it though.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle of 33cl, in a Grimbergen glass.
Used to be one of the good Abbey beer, now it’s just an average bičre blonde. I’m sad to say that, but it’s not a good beer... But she used to be one of the greatest...

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I remember that years ago I used to like beer but I could not find it for a long time. So I was happy when I finally found it in in a local shopping center.
I wonder if this was the same Grimberger I drank because now I think this is an average beer at best.
Aroma is almost nonexistent, the head is thin and disappears very quickly and the taste is nothing exceptional.
I hope it was a single bad bottle.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle (330 ml). Clear golden with a medium slowly diminishing white head and good lacing. Aroma is of Belgian yeast, floral notes, light spiciness and candi sugar. Taste is similar with yeast, floral/grassy notes, light spiciness and light acidity. Medium body. A tad watery at times. Medium carbonation. Mild fruity finish. Not very tasty. Boring Belgian Ale with a lack of body. Not horrible, just not interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
300ml bottle served in a its own chalice.
A: Pours a nice clear golden yellow color forming a medium bubbled and bit soapy white head. Medium ro low retention and some thin lingering lacings left in the glass
S: Sweet grains, honey and fruits. A bit spicy too. Bready and biscuity Belgian style yeasts
T: Sweet upfront. Strong notes of honey, sweet malts and fruits. On overall, a smooth and light sweet body. A bit drier than Leffe Blond, for example. Light bitter hoppy finish
M: Medium body and carbonation. Molasses. Grainy bittersweet aftertaste
O: Medium drinkability. Strong Belgium character. Not bad

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Smells of fresh harvest, beautifully clear amber in colour. Classical light Belgian in taste, with much hay and rock candy. Vinous mouth feel, powerful in aftertaste.

Dobry BlondBeer ale nie zniewalający. Ładna butelka wskazywałaby że w środku jest równie ciekawie, ale nie do końca było. Wrażenie ogólne - przyzwoicie.
