Pours clearly golden with a thin, white head. Weak flavor of sweat honey. Light beer in general. Not too crazy about it.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 gmonroe10 (175) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 22, 2008
Bottle. Clear gold and sweet taste, just a hint of bitterness on the finish. Goes down nice and smooth though, my favorite grimbergen.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 anotherpint (5) - , Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2008 does not count
Served bottled. Barely hazy blonde with a large pillowy head and no yeast sediment. Carbonation is well balanced and subtle.
Aroma is exotic and sweet, pale vanilla and nutmeg, white raisins and a touch of yeasts. Flavor is extremely sweet and bright, reminding me of light caramel and dried peaches or apricot.
Aftertaste was my least favorite feature, leaving my mouth feeling syrupy from the sweetness of the flavor. Definitely a good beer, but if you prefer bitters, be warned that it is very sweet.

Mighty tastey brew, pours a slightly hazey orange-yellow colour with a quite large fluffy head that sticks around for a logn time. very pleasent in taste as well with peace and apricot flavors. Overall, sweet with a supple finish, a modest 6% abv.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 armando629 (1939) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 13, 2008
0,65 l bottle...Clear golden-amber body-small but delisicious lacing head. Aroma is fine with spicey vanilla, citruses and top fermentation-yeast-perfume. The taste is smooth with oily vanilla and fruity/raisins flavour, moderated carbontion, fine hop. In my dream i can brew like the belgian masters...
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 gueuzeisgod (113) - Graham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 3, 2008
11.2 oz bottle, straw color, must not be bottle conditioned- it is polished and has no sediment at all. Sweet malt aroma, fruity yeast. Taste is very sweet, mild hop bitterness- a tripel without all of the alcohol punch. Drinkable, but almost cloying.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 firstdraft (7) - USA - MAY 31, 2008 does not count
Hey a Blonde Ale I actually like! WOOT! This is a nice little ale with a nice head, dark amber color, kinda cloudy, little bit of lacing. Aroma has that not quite done bread smell. Flavor is really good, there is a little bit of that chimay flavor belgian thing going on there that I usually hate but not this time. Good beer I’d get it again.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 VTHopHead (1340) - Barre, Vermont, USA - MAY 26, 2008
Bottle - Poured a darkish amber in color with a big foamy white head. Minor lacing on the glass. Aroma is yeasty with hints of both some citrus and some malty sweetness. Flavor is also quite yeasty with lots of fruity esters. Some alcohol apparent, but not overpowering. Overall a very nice beer... worth repeating.
