MMMmmmm, sooo good for an ale. I can drink liters and liters... Sooo good. Liked that.

Poured into a snifter. 4.0 A: Nearly clear yellow orange color. Two fingers of pillowy white head. Retention is good and plenty of lacing is left behind. 3.5 S: Light pepper and clove spiciness. Hay, grass, and light fruits. 3.5 T: Pepper and clove again. Earthy, hay, light fruits. Tasty. 3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Nice spritziness. 3.5 D: Good beer. I like it. Cheap beer, easily found in french supermarket. Good quality/price rate. light sweetness, quite tasty like a gelgium beer.

Clear brown amber, lasting head. Fruity champagne like aroma, banana. Sharp, clean, alcohol taste. Thin, and fizzy. Alcohol is a bit overpowering, spoils it.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas leicht dunkler als ein Pils, die Schaumbildung ist enorm. Die feinporige Krone steht astzack im Glas. Der Geruch ist hopfig und leicht fruchtig… Der Antrunk ist schön kräftig, würzig und süßmalzig. Genau wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte. Der spätere Abgang lässt den Alkoholgehalt erahnen, aber es schmeckt nicht wie andere Biere nahe der 7% Marke sehr alkoholisch. Im Gegenteil. Alles hält sich im Rahmen, die Aromen harmonieren gut miteinander. Ein schön leckeres Feierabendbierchen. Für nen besonderen Anlass gut geeignet, aber für jeden Tag wär das nix…

33cl bottle, 6.7%, 1.15€, contains ascorbic acid, caramel colorant . Dark yellow, clear, ok white head. Light fruity nose. Aroma is fruity with mostly white grapes, wine must, apple, wheat, spicy lager malts and some light grassy hops. Taste is sweet with an acidic, astringent, fairly dry finish. Alcohol is not too much invasive, quite easy to drink, but sourish. Carbonation is fizzy on the tongue. Medium bodied. It seems like a powered to excess lager, can’t really classify this as a real abbey beer, but it’s great for people who’d like to expand their beer horizons cheaply instead of the same old pale lager; this would be a good start.

This Belgium blond poors copper red with a mild head. It tastes crisp and delicious with no bitter after taste.
