Slight citrusy/piney aroma which hints at the very balanced flavor, just hoppy enough to please the hop fans without being overpowered by them. flhrciblueice (2), Russellville, Kentucky, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Bottle. Pale golden with a mildly thick, creamy head. Flavor is malty with hints of citrus & banana. Not really hoppy but with a pleasant bitterness. Svesse (2687), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2007 (Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 18 Feb 2007) Yellowish amber colour with foamy white head. Spicy, slightly sourish nose with notes of unripe peaches and citrus peel. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of peaches and green apples. Rather sweet and rather chemical. Not bad but it has become more "macro" (artficial and mainstream) during the recent years. 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours to a nice golden straw colored body with a creamy dense white head. The aroma had apparent Saaz style hops and what I’d call a nice fruity silage. The flavor was also similar to the aroma. Nice balance and even though it was somewhat strange, I really liked it. A nice tart mouthfeel that finished crisp. MIBRomeo (1966), Wisconsin, USA

Amber with a loose white head, lightly carbonated; aroma of apple, banana and honey; slightly sour in the mouth with lots of fruit and some biscuity yeast; dry and refreshing finish. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2007 33cl bottle. Amber color with a disappearing off-white head. Aroma of biscuit/cookie malt, with some apple, orange, yeast and spice. Off-sweet biscuity malts with a soft and rounded fruitiness---orange, banana, pear. Mild hop finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Clearly not among the best "tripels" but pretty decent for an imported Belgian six-pack offering. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 1, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl. Clear blonde colour with a light head. The aroma is yeasty and light lemo. The taste is sweet. A touch creamy and dry yeasty. In the beginning of Grimberg it was much better.
