Pours a light straw color with a nice bright white head. The nose is light but just a touch of fruit with a little bready yeast. What was missing in the nose comes through a little better in the mouth. The front to mid palate relatively bursts with friuit followed by a gentle maltiness and a little bread dough. Finishes crisp with just a slight sweetness lingering in the after taste.

Beautiful golden beer with white fluffy head. No chill haze. Has a typical fruity/yeasty Belgian aroma. Tastes sweet with only some phenolics and hoppiness to balance it out. Not as dry and refreshing as other examples.

I am a fan of Grimbergen, since the first time I had one in Brussels. I thought this was a delicious beer... until I saw that it was supposed to be a tripel. I had to dock it some based on that, because it would be a great generic blonde ale of some sort. Snorin’ Sam .

330ml bottle - pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is light and very fruity, lots of yeast, candy, with a good dose of banana. Otherwise, fairly simply and pleasant. Flavour very similar, quite yeasty, very refreshing, clean and simple. Candied banana dominates along with Belgian yeast. Went down very easy.

It had a very nice bitter taste to it but its appearance was not that amazing and almost worried me on how good it would be.

Bottle. Very light golden colored, clear, very effervescent. Frothy white head. Belgian yeast aroma, some fruit. Fruity flavor with a hint of a wheat taste, hint of spice, banana and finishes sort of dry, but leaves enough maltiness. Overall I thought this was real good.

Nice, light tasting beer. Easy finish with a hint of fruitiness. Excellent summer brew.

Memphis-Bottle. Enjoyed this sucker immensley but found myself constantly comparing it to my favorite blonde (thus far), Affligem (But the liquor store guy started it!!!) Since that’s the way I drank it, here goes: Grimbergen finished drier with less residual sweetness lending itself to a more crisp finish. Also, the aroma was not as complex as "the other blonde."
