Dec 3, 2006 Updated: Dec 4, 2006Pours golden-orange with a nice, lacy head. Malty and a bit of lemon at first. Slight nutty flavor follows, maybe a hint of corriander. Smooth, malty finish with a trace of sourness. Alcohol seems very well-hidden; drinks more like a single than a trippel. Reminds me of chrysanthemum and honey tea, perhaps oddly.

Nov 27, 2006 Pours a yellowish golden with a white head. The aroma has some citrus, malt, and herbs. Flavor is lighlty malty with a bit of lemon and an herbal background.

Nov 27, 2006 Updated: Apr 13, 2008Would have never guessed this was a trippel. Recommended as a non-bitter beer. Pours like any other pale yellow american beer, clean light transparent brownish yellow orange. Smells like any other yellow beer, no rememberable aroma. Initial interesting taste. Just a little hoppy on the palate. Nice finish, slight linger that does not last. Pretty good stuff. Much better than merry monks.

Nov 26, 2006 Bottle. Aroma was of yeast and bread. Dark gold body with white head and quality lacing. Flavor had a light zesty lemon with enough balance to keep it from being watered down. Smooth easy drinkable brew.

Nov 23, 2006 Bottle~The head starts off very frothy, lacing on this beer is beautiful(top notch). Smells sort of citrousy, herby, and yeasty. Taste very mellow hard to describe the taste but the malt is there as well as the dry finish to it.

Nov 23, 2006 Very fruity, estery, banana, yeast, babyfood. Not my kind of beer. Has a bit of "sahti" going on also. I suppose nothing wrong with it, I just don’t like the banana and melon like fruit flavours.

Nov 2, 2006 Pours a unique golden tawny color w/ medium semi creamy froth that sits there for a spell. Aroma of malted crisp green apples. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are moderately tart and fruity featuring an apple spice character. Light tangy bittering on the finish.
