11th rating of belgian beer club meeting 2. Pours golden yellow with a bright white head. Nose was yeaty with hints of candy sugar. Taste was sweet, yeasty and overall not too bad.

nice gold appearance with small white head, which left a great lacing. detected a hint of apricot in the aroma, but not enough to make my mouth water. enters smooth and goes down smoother. excellent taste, that hinted at white grapes, and a slight wheat after taste. was pleasantry surprised with this brew as I don’t generally like Belgium or "white brews."

Had on tap, aroma is pleasant, typical of a Belgian Abbey Ale, surprisingly smooth, was excellent cold and didn’t need time to warm up. Dry finish, quite enjoyable.

Pours just a slightly hazed gold with little head that leaves a lot of lacing. Nose is the typical sweetness with a citric edge. Flavor is actually fairly mild. At the start you don’t get anything immediate. But after you do get that slight citrus and sweet flavor. Overall though it does not seem to be very substantial. The feel is good. Nice bubble factor on the tongue. Drinkable? Sure. This is a mild and smooth Belgian that is good, but I would prefer to move on to something more uniquely interesting in order to expand my horizons.

Bottle. Golden coloured with a short lived big white head. Aroma of sweet malt followed by slightly syrupy flavour with a dry finish. Ok.

Bottle. Poured this in my Duvel glass, massive head which quickly disappears. Lovely straw colour, citrus like notes , dryish but quite full aswell, sweetish towards the end, Decent Belgian beer.

A dark golden liquid without much of a head. The flavor grabbed my attention - yeasty and nutty, with citrus tartness and a lemony scent. There are touches of cloves and sweet malt too, but overall it is mildly bitter and fizzy. This is a good exotic brew, but somehow not truly lovable - kind of like that girl you always admired, but knew you would never really get together with.

Pours bright deep gold into a Trappist glass. Bright white head quickly recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet yeast and caramel aromas. Crisp and full with upfront honey and a lasting lemon hop and yeast finish.
