3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (4613) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2007
Very full malt taste, a bit sweet, but that is balanced by a strong aroma from the yeast and a sourness in the finish. Some yeast lingers on the tongue. A bit rough, not the Duvel smoothness, but a pleasant beer.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2008 Light and airy is a good way to describe this brew. Wheats, faint floral, citrus, banana. A refreshing candy sweetness. The body is heavy and malty and the finish is just barely bitter. Easily drinkable.

On tap. Golden, filtered appearance, thinnish head with medium staying power. Faint honey aroma. Sweet, watery beer with a touch of alcohol. Faint malt. Mostly bland. But I’m not above buying a tallboy of this at the train station before a trip.
