An original taste for a really good beer.

Sweet/sour as well as spicy. For a Grimbergen it was quite amazing good actually.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2006 Clear golden/yellow color. Spicy nose with some sourness. Sweet sour and spicy taste, hint of honey. Good blond beer.

small white head, transparant golden color, very fresh and a bit sweet taste with hints of fruit. Slightly bitter finish. A very well balanced Blonde, one of the best Blonde i tasted.

Fruity, appley, winey aroma. Flavor has much of the same with a nice dryness towards the end, and apparent alcohol strength in the finish.

The first taste was rather shocking. Appearance gives you no reason to suspect anything other than a straight-up lager (of course, most will know better when ordering this). Even the aroma didn’t promise it either. The flavor is distinctive. I wanted to say plastic or cardboard or something vaguely industrial at first, but later on it came out as spiciness, peppery flavor. Slight sweetness with simultaneous dryness? (on tap, Belgo, Kingsway, London)

tastes like weizenbier. it’s not my favorite beer but quite drinkable.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2005 Pale golden brown. Firm thin head. Buttery aroma with notes of spices, bread and fruit. Sweet flavor with notes of graphite, spices and alcohol. Low bitterness. Astringent finish.

Nice clean color. Fruity and yeasty. A bit of bite in the mouth. Not spectacular.
