4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep gold, with lively carbonation and half an inch of white foam. It keeps a ring and a thin layer of foam for the head, providing pretty decent lace. Sweet/tart aroma of fruit, grain, honey, and alcohol.
Nice flavor - honeymalt, sweet fruitiness, light candi, a touch of cereal grain, and a bit of orangey citrus in the finish. Medium body, moderately light carbonation. The alcohol that I detected in the aroma is not to be found in flavor or mouthfeel. Good combination of flavors and balance - quite drinkable. In a way, it kinda reminds me of Kuhnhenn’s Simcoe Silly

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This starts with a small creamy head of off-white with a clear dark yellow body.
Light malt aroma that is jooined by a touch of apple, honey and peppery spice.
The flavor profile is balanced, light malt and a touch of hop bitterness. Good, but not overly complex.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pleasant if unremarkable abbey trip. Tasted like an average belgian blond. Nothing to write home about but then again it was decent.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a deep golden with a white head. Sweet-sour malty and hoppy aroma with grassy notes. Sweetish hoppy flavour. Slightly metallic with yeasty notes which becomes increasingly present as it warms. Grassy and dryish finish. 30-12-06.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Average blond beer. Fairly comparable with other Belgian blonds. Nothing outstanding either good or bad. Could easily sit in the pub and drink a couple with friends anytime.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
An excellent light tripel. Very creamy head with a golden color. Very malty, like tripels, with a slight hint of orange and malt. Also some other herbs that are not able to be distinguished. An excellent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 4, 2006 Pours golden-orange with a nice, lacy head. Malty and a bit of lemon at first. Slight nutty flavor follows, maybe a hint of corriander. Smooth, malty finish with a trace of sourness. Alcohol seems very well-hidden; drinks more like a single than a trippel. Reminds me of chrysanthemum and honey tea, perhaps oddly.
