12/05/2011 25cl can @ home - BB: 28/5/11 (2011-203)

Light gold coloured beer, clear. White creamy head, dissolves quickly, unstable and non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, oranges, sweet malts, candi sugar, touch of pineapple. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity also; peaches, a citric touch, some hops. Aftertaste: still fruity, more citrus fruits, a bit of pineapple.

11.2oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep golden with a thick, lacy, off-white head. Aroma of banana and caramel malts, spicy yeast, and floral hops. The banana notes and the malts dominate this beer, with light floral hops on the finish. A little alcohol too. Silky texture. A decent Belgian ale.

This blonde beer from the Grimbergen brewery is a nice experience. Soft, subtile and a bit of sweet tastes are being found in this beer. A good head on top of it completes it all.

33cl Bottle, thanks to Beermerchants, poured into goblet glass. Appearance is quite murky copper-golden-bronze, typical double, aroma is lots of spices, hey, sweet burnt caramel, lemon tarrt and coriander. Taste is VERY sweet; caramel, honey, lemon tart, some spices and coreander, rather metallic edge, bland but not bad tyical Belgian strong blode.
