A great Belgian Ale, persistent foam to long-lasting. Loaded and veiled aspect. Intense scent with a balanced bitter.

Bottle bought in Belgium. In a Duvel glass. Pours sparkling blonde with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is malt, alcohol and hints of spice. Tastes very nice, superbly malty and somewhat sweet, reasonable bitterness and hints of spice. Nice, easy drinking Belgian ale.

Bottle marked best before 8/10/04. Poured a white head, fair lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, with a yellow gold hue. Sweet, fruity and malty aroma. Malty and sweet flavor. Smooth, watery, thin and somewhat dry mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied.

MAP (1133) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2004
Gloassy golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy malt and typical belgian yeast. Body is a bit crisp, and a viscous finish. The flavor is an earthy sweetness, somewhat bitter, and has notes of peach and lemon. Not a bad beer, but nothing too special.

Subtle in most every way. Light citrus and herbal aromas. Light yellow and clear. Flavors of fruit, flowers, and malt. All very light. Very light palate. I had this beer chilled but I think it would be refreshing cold.

This bottled brew marked best before 8/10/04 poured a large head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent and orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of citrus dough mild coriander malt and was nice. Its mouth feel is initially tingly smooth with a vinous palate and a malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained citrusy malty hoppy notes and was very tasty.

Bottled, Stockholm Ber Festival. Overly yeasty nose, too young I suppose. Sugary in flavour, chewy, a little fruity, smooth. Yeasty backbone. Still not that bad.

Golden. Yeasty, malty aroma with notes of grapefruit. Flavor is yeasty as well, sour/sourish and not very fruity.

Enjoyable - golden color, medium foamy head. Banana and vanilla taste also nose. Kind of sweet but not too bad.
