Bottle. Not as good as I was expecting. Little fruit, but definite tastes of wheat. Disappointing, but not terrible.

Deep golden hue. Sweet toasty aromas. Highly carbonated, somewhat weak body. Follows through with a smooth pale malt middle showing a hint of sweetness. Soft hoppy, yeasty, refreshing finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent and fruity Belgian ale with a lightly bitter finish. However, a bit too sweet for me.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(33 cl bottle). Golden colour, good head and lacing. Nutmeg, cloves and oak in aroma and flavour, aftertaste a bit short, but not bad for a blonde. Some sweetness, but not too much. Decent.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hints of fruit and a wooded flavour in this one but misses the mark on overall flavour. Out of the can did not hold a good head but wheaty grain flavours are evident

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A clear golden beer with a small but fast disappearing head. The aroma is light with notes of sweetness, a good maltblend, and creamyness. The flavor is a little flat with wheat sweetness. It is very smooth. A really good tasting beer.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden with a generous head, this beer was not worth the 7% ABV overhead. Move along save the liver for a more worthy cause! (That's what my
tasting notes say).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Maybe it´s better from the tap, at least the dark Grimbergen is much better than this.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden color, lively carbonation. Intense malty and floral aroma. Well developed taste wirh more than a hint of wheat. In a word: good. I didn't find find the spiciness that others have noticed. I'll try to pay more attention next time, because I'm probably going to have this beer again.
