3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 Poured from an 11.2 oz bottle into a Grimbergen chalice. Pours a clear, amber with a fluffy, white head and exceptionable lacing on the glass. Scents of pear, green apple, and spicy alcohol. Begins with a pleasant sweetness upfront particularly of pears as well as apples, and apricots A mild hoppy bitterness counters the sweetness on the finish along with some faint spiciness. Faint yeast and bitter flavors in the aftertaste. Semi dry and light bodied. Despite its strength, this is a deceptively sessionable Belgian ale and one to revisit.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear bronze with a little lacing - looks pretty much like standard bulk lager. Aroma of ripe, Belgian style fruitiness with some pale maltiness - you can tell the difference between this and the usual bulk brews. Taste is light sweet, fruity and a bit spicy. The palate is light, very drinkable. Nothing special, but a nice Belgian bulk ale though.

Pours a lighter yellow orange color with a decent sized head. Overwhelming notes of gala apples and yeast. A bit one dimensional.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rating #878, flaske på Cafe Strand i Dragør. En lys og uklar øl med ok skum. Duft ad blomster og malt. Let blomstret, sød og ret maltet smag. Behagelig og mild bitterhed. Tyk og fyldig. Ganske god.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a sparkliing dark golden with a fluffy, thick white head with creamy lacing. Good bubble action. Aroma of bubble gum, maple syrup and candied sugar. Flavor has a touch of spearmint, cotton candy, yeast and bananas; all belended together nicely. Mouthfeel is thrick and rich. Very solid

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slight sourness in the aroma and a touch of yeast (although crystal clear), but not apparent in the flavour. Fresh, crisp and refreshing, not overloaded with flavour, maybe a hint of pears and coriander. The dry finish is not too sweet.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nothing special but quite drinkable. If I’m planning to drink multiple bottles of blonde beer at a summer bbq or something this might be a go to beer.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Une bière de base tout le temps pareil qui ne fera jamais vriller un palais, cependant elle est vraiment sympa à boire entre pote.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very good head. Extremely smooth. The aroma is a bit faint at lower temperatures. The alcohol taste is definitely present, but no burn.
