Moderate malty artoma with caramel notes; moderate hops aroma; additional notes of grape and honey. Dark golden colour with an average, creamy white head, mostly lasting and with good lacing. Flavour is heavy sweet and slightly bitter at the beginning, then the sweet character diminishes leaving more space to a moderate bitter and a light acidic taste in the finish and in the more-than-average lasting aftertaste. Body is medium with oily texture; lively carbonation; light astringent feeling in the finish. Pleasant and satisfactory beer. Aroma and flavour are fruity and complex; well balanced.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Small bubbly white head disappears quickly, no lacing. Nose is straw, a little spice. Flavour is biscuit, grass, a little citrus hop on the finish. Aftertaste is quite dry and a little vegetal. Pleasant mouthfeel, looked very fizzy coming out of the bottle but medium carbonation in the glass. Disappointing that the initial decent flavour fades away to a less enjoyable aftertaste.

Een van de minste bieren van Grimbergen, niet veel maak aan dit blonde bier.

Non pensavo fosse una birra di questo tipo. Degna di stare nell’olimpo. Amara e corposa. Classica Ale dal gusto deciso. Ottima.

Pretty nice flavour, aroma typical for blonde, nicely balanced nose of alcohol and light fruits

330 ml bottle. This is the brewed in France version. Pours a brilliant gold with a decent sized head that gradually fades away. Aroma of yeast and fruits. Taste is similar. Slight bitterness. Not bad.

330 ml. bottle.. Pours a clear yellow colour, with a big head. It takes its time to fade and leaves some lace. Smell of apples, caramel and hay. Medium body, easy to drink. Taste of fruits, apples, apricots, candy and some spice. Sure you can have it any time, but it doesn’t really offer anything to me. Just a correcto beer.
