Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 5, 2003 A clear golden beer with a small but fast disappearing head. The aroma is light with notes of sweetness, a good maltblend, and creamyness. The flavor is a little flat with wheat sweetness. It is very smooth. A really good tasting beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 11, 2007 Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich head. Juicy pineapple aroma. Sweet and fruity, estery and yeasty. Medium bodied with thick, spritzy mouthfeel. Light botes of grass and metal. Some late careful bitterness. Well balanced and rather enjoyable, although not the most complex Belgian beer around. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 1, 2005 Updated: Jan 8, 2006(Bottle 33 cl) Huge, white head. Lots of malt, lots of sweetness, but not really cloying though. Rather light body for such a strong beer. Very smooth and easy to drink. 150493 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 31, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden yellow to orange with a huge slight off-white and collapsing head. Malt and yeasty spiced aroma. Classic belgian yeast flavour, light citrus fruity and spiced. In addition a malt note and a decent bitterness is available, almost pilsner like. Ends nicely bitter and dry. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 24, 2005 Yellow colour with a white head.
Fruity acidic aroma with notes of yeast.
Fruity flavour with notes of malts and hops.
Definitely not the best blonde I’ve had.
