A little too sweet and, though I tend to prefer the balance to shift towards the malty both overall and for the style, this Blonde has too much sweetness without the body to match--tastes closer to a thin biere de garde with an unpleasant syrupy after taste that makes it difficult to have more than a single glass without quickly feeling full. Definitely not a bad beer in small quantities but not a stand out, either. I would try it on draft if I saw it as such to give it a second chance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours blonde with a good-sized white head. A tasty lightish-tasting beer that is on the strong side. Nicely balanced, refreshing while sweet and fruity. Decent

Floral, citrus aroma, at first intense but then not so much. Orange, clear, minimal head. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness.

Copenhagen 22/3 2015. 75 cl bottle (following in Leffes footsteps) from Netto. Pours clear yellow with white head. Slowly settling. Aroma is yeasty and quite strong with notes of alcohol. Medium carbonation. Taste follows the nose: yeasty and sweet and you are not surprised that this beer holds 6,7 %. Pretty nice industrial Belgian.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2015 75cl bottle@home in trappist glass. Approx 9 degrees C. Pours clear amber with nice white head. Aroma of yeast and apple. A light blonde with tastes of malt, apple and subtle yeast. The missus likes it a lot, I find it more bland macro though pleasant and clearly to be chosen over the competing Leffe Blonde. This is a cleaner taste, lighter with less glucose sirup and more a "real" blonde, though clearly macro. Not bad, but not memorable either.

Goût fruité, sucré, sans amertume. Ne tient pas en bouche. Bonne bière bien que sans caractère propre, fait partie de la catégorie des bières sucrées qui se boivent en soirée, à moyenne dose.
