If I stop by the supermarket, I usually take a six pack of girmbergen, to have something aside to well... just drink & enjoy. Easy looking, easy tasting, easy drinking. Some compare it to Leffe blonde as in some bars you have either one or the other. I can see why one would classify them in the sam category. Enjoyable. No more, no less!

Blonde beer with medium white head. Taste banana, mature prune and candy. Not my style of beer and not the best of its kind, but drinkable.

Beautiful clear golden-copper coloured beer with a light white head and nice column bubbling. Smell is sweet honeyish caramel, salty sourwood sourness and with a touch of bitter citriness. Maybe some coriander and cumin. Taste is quite full and yeasty. Sweet bitter watery with a clear bitter finish. Refreshing. Subtle warm fizziness. Flowery finish with spiciness. Nice.

330ml bottle. Golden amber colour with a foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of grain, fruity, banana, yeasty. Taste is grainy, malt with dusty, yeast, spice & fruity, banana notes and some earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity finish. Quite OK.

2015-05-27 A nice classic of the Belgian beers, but I expected more. Beautiful label though.

From Carrefour Camas. In Tongerlo glass. Playing Memoria. I had heard that it was much worse than it was years ago. I can now confirm it. It is very weak. I wont repeat it again if it continues being like this

Sweet and fermented aroma rises through the dense white foam. Slightly spicy aroma of clover and a taste that is malty as something that resembles chewing gum. Coriander and clover provide good spicy filling, but consistency is a little muddy on a slightly synthetic way. It is an easy to drink blond ale with slightly acidic citrus grass and which together form the hoppy aftertaste.
