2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2008
The aroma has notes of yeast and the head is weak. The flavour has notes of hops and flower and a grapefruit-like acidity takes over and dominates the rest of the experience, and my taste buds went num. I know a lot of people like this one, but I’m not fond of this kind of acidity, even if I like very bitter beers.

Pour was a disappointing clear gold with no head. Slight aroma of yeast but not much else. Taste was of yeast and some fruit. Medium carbonation in a style that should be heavy. All in all a medium to poor tripel.

Very little aroma, low condition and short lasting head. Harsh sugary taste. Very dissapointing, though about getting some more and cellaring it but realised it aint even bottle conditioned.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2008 Medium amber beer with small diminishing head. Pleasant aroma and somewhat watery initial taste of fruits and malt. Finish is nice. Needs more alcohol. Quite cheap, so is now my beer of choice to be stocked up with.

Bottle sharted with pete’s girlfriend megan. Pours a clear light gold with massive white head. Skunky corn aroma. Flavor is grassy, residual sweetness, floral hop light bitterness. Not unplerasant, but weird for a belgian blonde. Overly sweet finish.

Not refreshing in any sense. It has an aftertaste of long gone off canned peas, an unmotivated sweetness that doesn’t go with the harsh staleness. No, don’t waste yo0ur money on this one.
