On tap at Moose. Reddish brownish. A bit watery for an X-mas beer. Maybe a bit of ambiguous x-mas spices in the background somewhere. Not a good beer. Not bad, I guess.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper color. Medium carbonation. Has a rich caramel aromas that dominates, with a bit of dried fruit, no hop aroma. I think my bottle had some oxidized cardboard smell. Very sweet up front, some clear spice additions, has a chocolate finish. Bit of acidity in the middle and a tartness in the finish. A hint of herbal hops. Some phenolic bitterness and roast flavor. Oily body. Good beer, but lacks the complexity to be special.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Malty, sweet dubbel. A bit thin in terms of body, and pretty plain in flavour. Disappointing, I thought there would be a bit more spice to it.
