Typical aromas of Belgian yeast. Easy flavor of berries but watery and not at all good. The aftertaste has a weak bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth of a weak moment. Not at a beer for me. Minus points from me. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Vinous and complex in the nose, strong fruity notes of cherries, raspberries and alcohol. Heavy sweetness which fits well with the dark red colour. The variation during the tasting period is only in intensity.

Moving in the diretion of a beer port. Same kind of raisiny sweetness but no where near as jammy. Very drinkable at 6.5% and nice smooth finish. Had on tap.

Very sessionable for the style. ____________________________________ Nov. 14 2014. Bottle from LCBO. Catching some plum, raisin and chocolate notes, a little warmer tasting.

11.2oz bottle. hijacked from Anndiesel. Unfiltered burgundy brown body. Respectable beige head. Medium to full bodied, very easy going. Doughy, fresh, enjoyable. Not as cloyingly thick and sugary as others in the style. Chocolate and amber malt tones. Very clean, refreshing. Better than I remembered.

250ml Bottle (Gift from France):
A very nice Belgian beer here that didn’t pour great but started to pick up soon after that, it was malty and had some sweetness in there giving it a fairly basic but pleasant taste that was well balanced and went down quite easily. There was a touch of alcohol on the nose but this didn’t seem to follow through to the taste in any significant way, a good beer and one I wouldn’t be against trying again.

Deep ruby-brown clear body, light tan head with red tones, fluffy lacings. Aroma; floral grassy hops, kiwi, sour apples, leather, strawberry candies, vanilla & cinnamon. Taste; fruity malts, butter, milk, chocolate, caramel, juice of berries, cocoa. Juicy on palate, soft carbonation. Finishes fruity milky. An after-dinner beer, or with fruits or cheeses. Spend time with it, and receive wide aspects of taste. [33cl btl 6.5%abv ° BB 1/3/15 B@Alko Finland]

Bottle. Dark amber, generous foam head. Aromas of dark grains, raisins, general sweetness, rye bread. Taste is very sweet, raisins with hint of dried apricots, brown sugar, slightly bitter and sour after taste. Evolution is nice, but it is way too sweet for me.
