0.33L tap. Pours clear mohaganey brown with a thick, frothy tan head. Aromas are sour with mild roasted and bready malt notes. Mild sweet at beggining, bubblegum in th emiddle, then a long, sweet-sour finish, with some hints of sour cherry. Leaves a chalky feeling on the tongue. Medium-light body with a creamy(ish) mouthfeel. Overall, more sour than I remember, and surprisingly light with a decent flavor profile.

Great taste, not too chocolaty or toffy tasting. Just perfect pour and color. Love it. Great Belgium abbey beer

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2014 Bottle. Pours mahogany brown with thin yellowish head, good lacing. Aroma of caramel, ripe fruits, raisins, cane sugar. Taste is medium to high sweet, low bitterness, some astringency and pretty high carbonation on the palate.

Bottle 33cl. Brown/red with a beige head. Malty, chocolate aroma, sweet. Considering the number of Belgian "dubbel" beers, this one is not outstanding. It’s good but that’s about it. Sweet flavour and a medium length.

Beautiful brown amber with good foam top. Chocolate, toffee, some malt and hop. Not too sweet, well balanced. Medium body. Medium to long finish, medium dry and sweet. Not bad for a mass marketed beer

Flaska från Alko, Finland. Mörk brunröd vätska med ett schysst ljusbrunt skum. Doftar sött av plommon, russin och malt. Smakar sött av detsamma, saknar lite drag dock. Relativt tunn kropp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
