3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Aroma: Fig/ Sweet/ Alcohol. Flavor : Thick, full bodied with overwhelmingly sweet brown sugar/ fig taste. Tastes as if you are drinking a light version of maple syrup straight from the bottle. I might consider pouring this over my pancakes in the morning.

0,25L bottle, BB 03.2014. Pours dark ruby with off white head, the head doesn’t stay. Aroma is fruity, berries, malt, slightly metallic and alcohol. Taste is very sweet, dark fruits, caramel, malt, yeast and metallic taste. Finish has pleasant alcohol burn. Overall: better than I expected, maybe little bit too simple and too sweet.

Amber red color, quickly disappearing head, malty in aroma, sweetish with no bitterness in the taste, full body. My girlfriend liked it - for me it lacked hops.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
dark amber, brownish with a small head that disappears. smell is alcohol, sugar, apple. taste is dominantly strong toffee that turns saccharine. a lot of alcohol and candy, surprisingly hoppy herbal taste. mild yeast character-fresh,springy(?). palate is creamy but moderate. something so one dimensional i wont get again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dark ruby amber with a tiny head. Aroma of sweeter malts, toffee, some sweet yeast esters. I also get some bready notes and weak nutty notes - very weak though. Taste is rather sweet with some sweet yeast esters, weak hops, ripe fruits, sweeter toffee malts and with warming finish. Decent drinkable beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
0.33 bottle as Double Ambree. Very dark amber color with a reddish tinge and a small, off-white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty with some malty additions; a lot of spices as usual but also some alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with notes of bitterness and some sour tones too, very rich and warm. Full body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is somewhat resemblant of brandy but much softer. Overall this is one of the only beers whose commercial description actually matches the actual brew; very tasty and refined... a must-try.
