Brewed in Strasbourg for Alken-Maes, distribution unclear. Spiced.

Grimbergen Blanche is a true wheat beer in the most traditional sense. The pale yellow Blanche is cloudy, just as you would expect from a wheat beer. Notes of citrus and light carbonation add character to the creamy palate and make Blanche an excellent thirst quencher.

Bottle. Hazy yellow gold beer with a large disappearing white head. Aroma is spicy with notes of citrus, coriander, spices, wheat and grass. Flavor is spicy with notes of citrus, wheat, coriander and spices. Balanced, perhaps a bit sweet but refreshing.

Draught La Rotonde Paris 06/08/14. A hazy orangey yellow coloured beer with a white head. A nice if friendly witbier. Good orangey citrus notes and some decent spice. a nice body. Not bad at all. Score 3.4

Soft white fast fading head and a nearlz fully opaque sun yellow colour. On the nose aromas of wheat, light citrus/lemon, hints of wet green leaves and notches of vanilla and coriander arise. Light lively texture, light body with a light bitter sweet taste. The finish is soft and somewhat short-medium. Balanced beer but also rather one dimensional in taste compared to the aroma.

On tap at a random pavement cafe in Calais. Pale cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Light wheat chaff and lemon taste with a chalky mouthfeel and a mildly sour, dry finish. Thin and not a lot to it, but drinkable enough.

330 ml. bottle. HYazy pale colour, with a big head that lingers on for a while and leaves a good lace. Smell of citrus and flowers, maybe some coriander, all very faint. Correct palate, refreshing, carbonation good enough and not too much. Taste of citrus, coriander, melon, some spices. Not near at all of my favourites blanche beers. Bland, but very refreshing.

Fruity, light wheat, some spices. Easily accessible, refreshing in the heat and drinkable by the bottle.

Really light yellow white color with carbonizing head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is fresh, citric with some fermentation and alcohol hints. The taste is in line with this, quite fresh an really good for summertime. (Would have rated better if I liked Blanche beer).
