On tap at New World Brewery in Ybor City. pours a dark brownish red with a one finger white-tan head that lingers. Aroma: sweet, hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor: sweetness, ripe fruit, caramel. Somewhat quick, watery finish.

Jul 16, 2008 This used to be one of my favourites, until I discovered there are more beers than the ones you can buy in the supermarket. Dark brown/red colour, off white head. Looks great in its glass! Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, some fruits. Taste is mainly caramel and brown sugar, slightly metallic, a little sourish aftertaste, some alcohol Sweetness becomes cloying after a while, there’s just too much of it.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottle. Not a great dubbel for me. Toffee, brown sugar, sweetness up to the knackers. Too much sweet for me to like. Not awful, it’s drinkable but I would not buy this when I can get much better dubbels.

Jul 7, 2008 On tap, pours opaque ruddy brown with a two finger cream colored head. The nose and the flavor are both sweet summer fruits and brown sugar - toffee. A bit too sweet for me, but a nice smooth mouthfeel.

Jul 6, 2008 Bottle-Pours with a big light tan head. Aroma of strawberries and oddly enough tomatoes. Flavour is sweet and citrusy. Nice beer overall.
