COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a strong blonde beer, full of character with tertiary fermentation in the bottle yet still very accessible. Alc. 8% vol. Taste: The traditional Grimbergen recipe is enriched here trough the use of aromatic hops, which gives the beer its refined bitterness and hoppy character. The result is a refreshingly strong blonde beer.

Dumpy 33cl bottle: well in date when opened in May 2012. Poured into my ’Westmalle’ chalice giving a huge white foaming head and a body of clear golden beer. The smell is like fresh mince and cardboard, strange but not as bad as it sounds. The taste is also not normal: salt and pepper mixed into an alcoholic, yeasty, beery blend that kind of works somehow. Well carbonated and spritzy: not something I’d usually take too, but overall it’s fine.

Bottle at La Trappiste Canterbury. Brilliant bright gold colour lasting white head and lots of carbonation. Some tripel character in that it has tangerine and some peachy esters. Quite dry. But its mote like a strong belgian blond. Which i quite like. Yes drinkable as hell and i quite like it. It put a smile on my face

UPDATED: APR 10, 2012 Very very yellow beer. Almost artificial. It lacks flavor and subtelty... Lacks a lot actually, just a bottle of fizzy alcOhol. From the Mitra on the Vismarkt in Groningen.

Något gummiaktig malt doft. Smaken är något bättre. Tydlig belgojäst och krydder. Helt ok men inget spes,

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden with a large, white head. Aroma of malt, alcohol, yeast and fruit. The taste was quite sweet with alcohol, malt, light spices and some fruit. Drinkable but not that exciting.
