.I had this after some Delrium. the later was unpolished but flavoursome. the former was too sweet and could use more dryness as a redemption: sorta tryiing to resemble Duvel but without the guts or street creed. Nice though and eazy to sink despite dangerous ABV %.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2008 Dark amber beer with medium carbonation and a small short lasting head. Fantastic initial taste - malty with plenty of fruits (banana, pear) and a pleasant finish. Definately has it over Leffe 9.

Bouteille de 25cl. Couleur dorée, mousse moyenne d’assez faible tenue. Arômes fruités et épicés, alcool, rien de vaiment subtil, facilement écoeurante, d’autant que la carbonation n’est pas folichonne non plus : un peu collante. Trouvée à Intermarché - Montigny en Gohelle
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - JAN 13, 2009
10/01 0.25 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, great thanks for giving it away! It poured clear golden body with smaller head. Pretty weak aroma with typical fruity yeast and a bit winy. Flavor was pretty weak as well, but the base was good, banana yeasty spiced with some herbs and based on sweetish vanilla and caramel malts. Despite its thin body, alcohol is nicely hidden. Pretty much below average for the style, but a nice beer to drink.

Light amber coloured beer with small white head and some nice carboantion. Malty bit yeasty aroma. Full little creamy palate. Finish is bit sweet and fruity, slightly alcoholic. Good one, reminds to Leffe.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, bread, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!), shared with heavy. Poured a golden body with a small white head that went away fast. Dusty and acidic vinuous nose. Odd. Ok yeasty taste, with some herbal hopiness and a maltiness that’s just a bit eggy. Cloves show up a bit on the glue side. Lemony finish. Overall not too impressive but interesting in a way.

Bottle with Keith. Pure gold with sparse bubbles and a slim white cap. Orange peel, watery banana and bubblegum aroma. Soft and gently spicy with notes of wheat, grassiness and chewing gum. A hint of alcohol bitterness to finish. Very easy to tuck away indeed.
