Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 11, 2002 A light amber beer with no head. It has no aroma. The flavor is very sweet, a bit sour and ending on a slight bitterness. An OK beer but nothing much. omhper (10454), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 13, 2007 Bottled at Belgobaren, STockholm. Clear nut brown, brief head. Raisiny malty nose with some peppery alcohol. Sweet and vinous, with slimmer body than expected for a 10% beer. Somewhat fruity with light almondy notes. Salty finish with a touch of spicy bitterness. Interesting nose, but I’d like more character in a beer of this size. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 24, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden beer, extremely full-bodied. Sweet, very sweet - no sickeningly sweet with some late hoppiness to prevent me from spewing. If you consider this as a dessert-beer it might have some raison d’etre. 300695 Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 8, 2007 Bright brown sugary colour. Aroma of peach, dates and brown sugar. The body is thin and simple for a beer this size. Only a slght hint of alcohol. Soft dark fruit notes. Too sweet and one-dimensional. Less than the sum of its parts, and that’s due to lack of bottleconditioning. yespr (6361), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 16, 2007 33 cl bottle. Pours brown with little off white head. Aroma is malt and classical belgian yeast. Taste is malty, slight metallic and strong alcohol notes blended with fruity wineous notes
