Not a strong aroma but a strong, fruity flavour that hides the alcohol fairly well. Good.

33cL bottle. Aroma is a little on the sour side, strong. Low carbonation, copper color, opaque. Taste is also strong, but sweet & sour, too. Complete taste profile. Aftertaste is syrupy, almost. A favorite of mine, I’ve never had one quite like it.

Dark amber colored with a medium head. Aroma was nothing special but smelled a little sweet. Taste itself was nothing special either. Had a dry long aftertaste. I expected more from this beer..

bit of a strange one this. got a 9 year old bottle from wineways and had high hopes for a beer ’experience’. unfortuantley age hadn’t been kind - in my opinion! poured a deep cherry/ruby/brown with a small head that disappeared instantly. the aroma was overpowered by alcohol, but there was some raisin, fig, date, super ripe cherry there too. the flavour was much the same but very sour and very sweet. had quite a vibrant carbonation still. overall much more like a port than a beer. always feel a bit bad submitting reviews like this, maybe i shoudl stop! i will have to buy a ’fresh’ bottle and try again. bottle. wineways. harrogate.

Bottle from Csakajósör, Bp. Clear copper brown coloured one with a medium sized off-white/tan head, which leaves a thin film behind. Tart, cherry-fruity nose and aroma escorted by caramel, sugar, citrus, herbals and some chocolate underpainted by alcohol. The syrupy and moderate sticky mouthfeeled brew finishes medium dry and warming with liqueur, tart citrusses, spices and some metallic influences, which leaves a tart aftertaste behind. For me a bit too sweet, but overall nice.

330ml bottle. Dark brown in colour with a soft light tan head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Aromas of peaches, nectarines and apricots. The flavour is mellow in a long dry finish and no bitterness.
